Use a compatible mail client
Your organization portal provides mail client settings for IMAP and SMTP. Use those settings in compatible apps such as Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird. Check TLS, port numbers, and the full mailbox address carefully.
When two-factor authentication is enabled, use a dedicated app password for compatible clients. The browser mailbox sign-in and a mail client connection use different flows.
Sync calendars and contacts
Compatible CalDAV and CardDAV apps can connect to the calendar and contact endpoints provided by your platform settings. Client support varies, particularly for shared calendars and address books.
The company directory and shared contacts help your team use a common set of business details. Check permissions and visibility before assuming all contact fields are shared.
Connect with signed webhooks
Supported plans expose organization webhooks for events such as mail received, delivered, bounced, delayed, and selected security or organization changes. Configure them in the organization portal.
Verify the timestamp and HMAC signature on every webhook, use your own replay protections, and keep signing secrets server-side. The platform supports retries, delivery logs, and redelivery; handlers should be idempotent.
Be deliberate about event data
Select only the events and data that your integration needs. Some event settings can include message-related information or attachment links. Your receiver must enforce its own access controls, retention policy, and secure storage.
Review current endpoint and event documentation in the admin portal rather than embedding credentials or internal service details into a public website.
